Tibet Horse Jewellery. Horse forehead cover for the leading caravan or mule train.

A very similar example was shown from October 15 to November 18, 1989, in a famous exhibition held in the Kunstindustrimuseet i Oslo, the Norvegian Museum of Applied Arts in Oslo. The ornament is shown at number 89 and also on the front cover of the catalogue of the exhibition ( Hallvard Kare Kuloy, Fra Tempel til Hersterygg den Tibetanske Teppetradisjonen C Tibetan Rugs, Kunstindustrimuseet i Oslo, 1989 ).
