This
carpet is a happy tiger version of the traditional lama tiger
rug and was probably intended for domestic use. The pictorial
image depicts a heroic tiger setting off during its hunt.
This rug was probably a gift to a VIP as a form of tribute.
The tiger symbol denotes lofty ambitions and the developing
of great plans. The carpet is a beautiful red. Cotton warp
and weft, asymmetrical woolen knots. In a very good condition.
